The Photobooth has simply become a wedding must have. The days of disposable cameras on guest tables are long gone and the love for ‘candid’ pictures of your friends and family is growing. Cosmo Bride magazine described the Photobooth as the “must have accessory for weddings”.
It’s not only a great momento for your guest book and keepsake for your guests, but the entertainment as well. People love the touch screen and lose their inhibition when it’s just them or their friends in the booth so you get some great natural photos. Plus you get a digital copy of every photo taken which is great to look over and see how much everyone enjoyed themselves on your special day!
Did you know that your guests can also leave you a personal message after they have had their photo taken? Your Event Photobooths provide video messaging, which means your guests also have the option to say a special congratulations to you both. You could even hop in the booth yourself and record a personal thank you message that you could send to your guests and/or overseas relatives after your wedding. This is something truly unique, intimate and personal. To take advantage of this feature simply request the video messaging option to be turned on at your wedding reception.
The Prop Box has also become very popular when hiring a Photobooth for Adelaide weddings – it’s almost a given. It encourages those shy guests to jump in and have some fun with a mask, hat, feather boa or even policeman’s club! If you have a particular theme to your wedding or you want to add a certain splash of colour throughout the props just let us know and we will be more than happy to prop your reception in coordinating themes and colours!
Newlyweds want to take away as many memories from their big day as possible. An album with your photobooth hire is the perfect addition to help you to do just that! Our dry mount albums allow your guests to keep one strip and stick the other in your album and write a personalised message on the page next to their photo. These are so much fun to look back on and a really great way to capture your guests in a candid way.
If you want to encourage each and every guest to use the Photobooth at least once then why not use our frames as bonbonnieres or simply place one per guest on each table. A great idea is to use these frames as table name settings, then your guests can place their photostrip in it later. You can even design a special logo or message for the bottom of the photostrip. We also have plastic sleeves, mini albums, magnetic frames… check out our accessories here.
Invitations & Customised Strips
Why not use the booth before the big day and customise a strip with three photos of you as a couple and in the 4th strip “save the date” information. Sometimes you know the date of your wedding long before you intend on sending invitations, so this is a great, fun and inexpensive way to let your guests know to expect an invitation in the mail and to keep the date free. This way you are ensuring your guests know the date before you have to decide or confirm the venue, time, reception details. This is very popular at the moment and another way to announce your exciting news!
Let your guests know about the Photobooth!
If you are going to have a Photobooth at your wedding you will want your guests to use it…. let them know it will be there so they can prepare and maybe even bring something memorable to show off with in the booth on the night. People generally gear up for a great time in the Photobooth if they know ahead of time that there will be one at your wedding. At Your Event Photobooths, to make this a simple, yet effective we design small cards to go out with your invitations… personalised with your message, photo, colour theme…you name it – you have complete artistic control. Below are a few samples to get your creative juices flowing.
Choosing a venue for your reception is a big decision. photobooth-venue-wedding2 We have had experience in providing photo booths to many venues and can advise that the best location for a photobooth is indoors, ground level (no stairs), easy access (wide doors) and close to a power point. Once you let us know your venue, before confirming your booking we will contact the venue for you and ensure we can provide a photo booth there. The week prior to you wedding we liaise with the venue to ensure that all the preparation for your photobooth is hassle free and all you need to do is watch your guests have a ball!
